Brought to You via Curbside

Check out these two tables my Mom garbage picked for me this winter while in Florida.  Remember, I told you I come by this naturally.

Anyway, she couldn't take any more of my Dad's complaining questions about what she was going to do with them, so she gave them to me.  SCORE.

Don't misunderstand, my husband has the same complaints questions, but I know it's his way of cheering me on to create something fabulous.

Aren't they cute?

I love the rope trim.  I know, many of the curved pieces in the corners are missing.  But, I'm sure my husband can't wait to help me cut some replacements......wink-wink.

They have potential, don't you agree?  Hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but did I mention they were free?
 F R E E it's for me. That's what I say anyway.

OK, they are pretty beat up, but they are sturdy people.  I have big plans for these babies but you'll have to check back soon to see their transformation.

What have you garbage picked saved from the landfill?

  6. Kaye,

I've been searching for a pair of end tables to refinish! You are lucky to have discovered them curbside. Looking forward to seeing what you do with them.

Also, wanted to ask; where did you get those sweet garden markers?
